Aerospace Club

JROTC/Aerospace Club

This club is for students who are interested in attending JROTC in high school or have an interest in the aerospace industry. The club is open to all students in all grades and is designed to broaden students knowledge in the areas of history and science, as well as expose them to career opportunities in the fields of aviation and space. Our study of history includes topics like World Wars One and Two, Korea, Vietnam, current conflicts, the Space Race, the science of flight (from aerodynamics to stealth technology), and a little bit of Astronomy.  Students will also memorize basic marching movements that will give them the opportunity to learn and practice leadership fundamentals.  Club members participate in flag raising and lowering ceremonies at the school, as well as any other ceremonies that require the presentation of the colors.
